Two Williamsport Firefighters Hurt Fighting Fire in Windy Conditions

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — High winds made it difficult for firefighters to douse flames at a house fire in Williamsport Monday afternoon. Williamsport’s fire chief tells us the wind was feeding the flames and led to a dangerous situation where at least two firefighters suffered burns. Strong winds fed flames at a house fire on 3rd Avenue in Williamsport. Fire officials say it erupted just after noon.

UNION TOWNSHIP — An argument over a bag of potato chips landed a man behind bars in Schuylkill County. George Beaver of Union Township faces assault charges after troopers say he told his wife not to touch his ‘Utz Ruffled Sour Cream and Onion chips’. When she did, Beaver allegedly grabbed her face and bit off a chunk of her skin.

Drugs like heroin can really harm you. I am glad Governor Wolf has finally done something that helps us out. I hope this also cuts done on the drug crimes too. People do it everyday, walk into the emergency room, get a prescription and sell it on the street. Some people do even take the pills given to them in the ER. They sneak it out.
